* After you have shaved the area, cleaned the sore and it is dry, apply 2-4 drops (in a thin layer) of Hot Spot Oil directly to the sore, 2-4 times a day. May temporarily stain fur and skin a light orange color.

Our 4 Year old Golden Retriever has dealt with hot spots a lot. During the winter he developed a reasonable sized hot spot on his head. It would not go away with hot spot treatments we bought at other stores. I asked Paulien about any remedies she had and she recommended Hot Spot oil. We cleaned the area, cut away hair where needed and put oil on two times a day (due to work schedule). Within a week we saw improvement. Within three weeks it was gone. I have a picture halfway through and after.
